ReadBorn Beginners — Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the ReadBorn Beginners application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App. A parent or guardian must accept these Terms on behalf of any minor user.

2. Description of Service

ReadBorn Beginners helps children ages 4–6 develop early reading skills by sounding out letters one-by-one to bring cute baby animals to life. The App combines on-device speech recognition with illustrated creature-hatching gameplay, and offers both free and paid content.

3. Eligibility

The App is intended for use by children under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Account and device setup require parental involvement, and use by children under 13 is governed by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

4. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding any login information associated with the App and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

ReadBorn Beginners offers free content as well as premium subscriptions:

• Monthly subscription: $3.99 / month
• Yearly subscription: $27.99 / year
• 3-day free trial available to new subscribers

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your iOS Settings. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including but not limited to creatures, stories, artwork, animations, sounds, and text, is the property of AI Conveyor Inc. and ReadBorn Beginners and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Collect information about other users

8. Voice Recognition

ReadBorn Beginners uses Apple's on-device Speech framework to listen as the child reads. Audio is processed on-device, never transmitted to ReadBorn or Apple servers, and is not stored. Microphone access requires explicit permission and may be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our ReadBorn Beginners Privacy Policy, which describes how information is handled.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. Use is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Conveyor Inc. and ReadBorn Beginners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App for conduct that violates these Terms or that we believe is harmful to other users or to third parties, without prior notice.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
