Math Claw — Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Math Claw ("we," "our," or "us") is a 3D claw-machine math game designed to make arithmetic practice fun for children ages 4 and up. This Privacy Policy explains what information Math Claw handles and how it is protected.

2. Information We Collect

Math Claw does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically:

  • We do not collect names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information
  • We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs
  • We do not use cookies or web beacons
  • We do not access the camera, microphone, contacts, or location

3. Local Data Storage

The following data is stored locally on the child's device only and never transmitted:

  • Game progress — scores, session counts, difficulty and operation settings
  • Bear collection and customization preferences
  • Sound and music preferences
  • Subscription status (managed by Apple via StoreKit)

This data never leaves the device and is not sent to Math Claw or any third party.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Math Claw is designed for children ages 4 and older and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
  • We do not show behavioral or targeted advertising
  • We do not share data with third parties for marketing purposes
  • We do not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs
  • Subscription management requires a parent or guardian

5. Subscriptions

Math Claw offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions managed entirely through the Apple App Store. Payments are processed by Apple — we do not receive or store your payment card information. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

6. Third-Party Services

Math Claw relies only on Apple platform services:

  • Apple App Store — distribution
  • Apple StoreKit — in-app purchases and subscription management

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Because Math Claw stores all game data locally, you can remove your data at any time by tapping "Delete All Data" in the in-app Settings screen, or by deleting the app from your device.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of Math Claw after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
