ChromaZen — Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

ChromaZen ("we," "our," or "us") is an offline mandala coloring app with ambient soundscapes and a sleep timer, designed to help people unwind. This Privacy Policy explains what information ChromaZen handles and how it is protected.

2. Information We Collect

ChromaZen does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically:

  • We do not collect names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information
  • We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs
  • We do not use cookies or web beacons
  • We do not access the camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, or location
  • We do not require a user account or sign-in

3. Local Data Storage

The following data is stored locally on your device only and never transmitted:

  • Coloring progress — page completion percentage, strokes, and fills
  • Gallery snapshots of completed pages
  • Sound palette selection and sleep-timer preferences
  • Volume levels and other in-app settings
  • Subscription status (managed by Apple via StoreKit)

This data never leaves the device and is not sent to ChromaZen or any third party.

4. Age & Audience

ChromaZen is intended for general audiences ages 13 and older. The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not show behavioral or targeted advertising, and we do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

5. Subscriptions

ChromaZen offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions managed entirely through the Apple App Store. Payments are processed by Apple — we do not receive or store your payment card information. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

6. Third-Party Services

ChromaZen relies only on Apple platform services:

  • Apple App Store — distribution
  • Apple StoreKit — in-app purchases and subscription management

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Because ChromaZen stores all data locally, you can remove your data at any time by using the in-app reset option in Settings, or by deleting the app from your device.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of ChromaZen after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
